Introduction

In the wake of the past two weeks of the ongoing PRIDE month 2023, we have seen nude men and others in various states of undress walking down the street openly in front of children, nude and g-string wearing men performing "simulated" sex acts in and out of costume with one another and alone.

We have seen transgender women flouting their newly acquired breast and other parts of their anatomy. We have seen drag shows that would make a sailor blush. We have also seen gays and lesbians come out against the grooming of children and proclaiming themselves removed from the LGBTQ+ movement.

Then this morning we saw this...

That's right a topless"woman"standing on the Whitehouse lawn bare breasted covering her nipples. As expected, the country flew into a flurry of social media backlash and varying levels of disgust and anger on both side of the discussion. Accusations of transphobia and grooming bounced back and forth amongst the two sides and I thought back to an earlier time on our history.

I thought of a time when people were a bit more reserved. That does not mean those times were more equal, more fair, or better for many people in the United States, but women were definitely less likely to show their tits at the Whitehouse for sure.

As I thought about my Daughter Chloé and how she might react in this instance, I reminded myself that it was a father's job to make sure his daughter knew how special she was and how much worth she had in the world. it was my job to educate her that her worth went beyond her looks, her body, and her sexuality.

I thought of what my Grandmother Clemmie would say. I could hear many women that I respected from my past saying the same thing. Most of them were scolds and took no pleasure in entertaining any bullshit or bad behavior from young people whatsoever. But hey we're all "ladies." I could hear in my mind and it kept saying the same thing. "Be a lady." But, what does that mean and how does one achieve that lofty ideal. So I did some research and I wrote this.

How to Be a Lady

The concept of "lady" is a social construct that has been used to define and limit women for centuries. It is often associated with traditional gender roles, such as being nurturing, polite, and demure. While there is nothing wrong with these qualities, they should not be forced upon women. Women should be free to express themselves however they choose, without being judged or labeled.

While I think we all agree on this, it is not wrong to expect our fellow citizens to behave with dignity nd respect for others. Striving to become a "lady" is worthwhile and creates value amongst the members of society just as becoming and acting as a gentleman would.

In today's world, the definition of a "lady" is constantly evolving. However, there are some timeless qualities that all ladies share. Here are a few tips on how to be a lady:

  1. Be kind and compassionate. A lady is always kind and compassionate, even to those who are different from her. She is always willing to help others and put their needs before her own.
  2. Be respectful. A lady is always respectful of others, regardless of their social status, age, or gender. She is polite and courteous, even in difficult situations.
  3. Be elegant and graceful. A lady carries herself with elegance and grace. She is mindful of her appearance and dresses appropriately for the occasion.
  4. Be intelligent and well-spoken. A lady is intelligent and well-spoken. She is able to hold a conversation on a variety of topics and is always willing to learn new things.
  5. Be independent and strong-willed. A lady is independent and strong-willed. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and is able to take care of herself.
  6. Be a good listener. A lady is a good listener. She is attentive and interested in what others have to say.
  7. Be a good friend. A lady is a good friend. She is loyal and supportive, always there for her friends when they need her.
  8. Be a good role model. A lady is a good role model. She sets a positive example for others and inspires them to be their best selves.

Being a lady is not about following a set of rules or conforming to a certain image.

It is about being a kind, compassionate, and respectful person who is always willing to help others. It is about being intelligent, well-spoken, and independent. It is about being a good listener, a good friend, and a good role model.

If you strive to be all of these things, then you will be well on your way to becoming a lady.

Here are some additional tips that may help you on your journey to becoming a lady:

  • Be mindful of your words and actions. Always think about how your words and actions will affect others.
  • Be confident. A lady is confident in herself and her abilities.
  • Be positive. A lady always looks on the bright side of things.
  • Be forgiving. Everyone makes mistakes. Be willing to forgive others and yourself.
  • Be grateful. Be thankful for the good things in your life.

Remember, being a lady is a journey, not a destination.

There will be times when you make mistakes and fall short. But that is okay. Just pick yourself up and keep going. The most important thing is to always strive to be the best version of yourself.

Legal Psilocybin, Legal Marijuana and Cartel Money Laundering in Colorado

Legal Marijuana and Cartel Money Laundering in Colorado Colorado Decriminalizes Psilocybin -  Proposition 122 On November 3, 2022, Colorado voters approved Proposition 122, which decriminalized the personal use and possession of psilocybin, psilocyn, DMT, ibogaine, and mescaline for adults 21 and older . The measure also allows for the creation of state-regulated "healing centers" where adults can experience these substances under the supervision of trained facilitators. Psilocybin is the active ingredient in magic mushrooms, and it has been shown to have potential therapeutic benefits for a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). However, psilocybin is currently illegal under federal law, and it is only legal for medical use in a handful of states. The passage of Proposition 122 makes Colorado the second state, after Oregon, to decriminalize psilocybin. The measure is a significant step forward f...
